Join CWA as we head to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia
Trip Overview
Join the CWA for a relaxed, DIY fly fishing getaway in and around Shenandoah National Park from May 4–6! We’ll be based at Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria, VA a perfect home base for exploring nearby streams and enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge.
This is a flexible, build-your-own adventure—ideal for anglers of all experience levels. Fish at your own pace, explore different waters, or team up with others throughout the trip.
Lodging Options:
Participants can choose what works best for them:
• Share a room in one of the lodge cabins
• Pitch a tent at the campground
• Bring an RV or camper
Guides & Fishing Plans:
Depending on group interest, we can coordinate and share local guides to help maximize time on the water. Otherwise, small groups can plan outings together each day.
Meals & Social Time:
We’ll keep things casual and collaborative—plan to:
• Meet up for dinner at the lodge restaurant
• Or organize group meals where participants take turns hosting
Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, meet fellow anglers, or just enjoy a few days outside, this trip is all about good fishing, good company, and a laid-back atmosphere.
