Join CWA as we Fish the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC

Trip Overview

The fishing can be tricky, but the location is hard to beat! Come join us for a day of fishing in the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. Now is your chance to fish the picturesque scenery.

Please bring the following:

• 5wt rod

• Flies (streamers and poppers suggested)

• Water bottle

• Sunglasses

• DC fishing license

We won’t be getting in the water, but the water level can be high, so wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet.

We will meet at the Franklin Roosevelt water fountains, which are accessible via metro or you can park on Independence near the MLK memorial and walk from there.
