Join CWA and TPFR for a free casting clinic on the Monocacy River in Maryland

Trip Overview

CWA and TPRF are getting together for a joint Casting Church. We will be helping people with their casts on the water. While this event is open to all levels, it is a really good opportunity for beginners. River is wide open and the wading is easy, that said, there are some places with cobble stone on the bottom, so it's a good idea to bring your wading staff. We will be targeting Bluegill and Bass, so bring flies for those species and the suggested rod weight is 4, 5, or 6.

Fishing License Requirements

• All anglers are required to have a valid Maryland fishing license
