Shenandoah River Kayak Recap
After having to reschedule earlier this summer due to the extreme heat, CWA members headed out to the Shenandoah River for a day of fishing from kayaks. This has become an annual tradition for the club and is one of the favorite events each summer. We start at the Down River Canoe company, rent our gear, and then get shuttled over to the put-in. From there it is a nice, casual float down the river. The Shenandoah is great for catching small mouth bass, and with the wide open expanse, it is also ideal for practicing those big back casts.
Thanks to everyone who came out! We look forward to seeing you all on the river again soon.
