Come join us for Reel Reads Book Club

Reel Reads is a CWA members-only book club held monthly that helps to promote of our love of fishing, the outdoors, nature, water, etc. through interesting and engaging books and discussion. In other words, it is an excuse to get together and socialize about our shared love.

In September we’ll be reading and discussing the book A Woman’s Angle.

A Woman’s Angle is an anthology of the best articles pulled from 20 years of the Delaware Valley Women’s Fly Fishing Association’s newsletter. It gathers first-person pieces from women anglers of all ages and skill levels - beginners to veterans — fishing everywhere from Cancun to the Canadian rivers and saltwater flats. The essays are personal and varied: humor, hard-won lessons, mentorship stories, and reflections on fly fishing. Rather than a single narrative, it is a mosaic of voices marking two decades of women’s growing presence in the sport.
