Environmental Update: Support the Maryland Bottle Bill!
Maryland is considering an important step to reduce plastic pollution in our waterways. Senate Bill 346 / House Bill 232, the Maryland Bottle Bill, would establish a deposit / refund recycling system to keep beverage containers out of our rivers, parks, and streets. Bottle bills have been proven to increase recycling rates and reduce litter in other states.
Now is the time to act! Contact your Maryland legislators and urge them to support this bill. Find your representatives here.
